Repairs

We offer free diagnostic estimates and repair all makes and models of bicycles. Appointments are encouraged, which can reduce the amount of time you are without your bike. Simply stop by or call the shop to reserve a slot.

A wide range of service options are available and specifically 'tuned' to work for you and your bike. Below is a sampling of our standard tune up options that are available.

Overhaul L3.1 $225

Absolutely, top of the line service returning the bike to a nearly ‘like new’ running condition. Essentially, the entire bike is striped of all parts, cleaned, lubed and reassembled.

  • Remove all parts from the frame and fork.
  • Clean wheel rims, spokes, hubs, brake calipers, drive train (chain, chainrings, cassette/freewheel) and frame. Polish frame and fork. Disassemble parts where appropriate. Re-grease and assemble.
  • Lube brake/shift levers, brake/shift cables, brake caliper pivot points, brake caliper posts, headset, bottom bracket, derailleurs, chain, cassette, and chainrings. Trim brake and shift cables, secure with cable ends.
  • Correct lateral, radial, centering, tension average and tension balance errors in both wheels.
  • Adjust front and rear wheel hubs, headset, bottom bracket, pedals (if serviceable), brake pads (center and balance clearance), shift levers, front and rear derailleurs.
  • Secure/tighten brake/shift levers, brake calipers, handlebars, stem, seatpost, seat, crankarms, chainrings, pedals, and accessories.
  • No additional labor charges for new parts installation.

Major Tune Up L2.1 $90

Recommend a major tune up if the bike has been ridden frequently, especially in wet weather. Consider new cables and housing at this time as there is no additional service charge for installation.

  • Remove chain, cassette/freewheel, chainrings, and derailleurs.
  • Clean wheel rims, spokes, hubs, brake calipers, drive train (chain, chainrings, cassette/freewheel) and frame.
  • Lube brake/shift levers, brake/shift cables, brake caliper pivot points, brake caliper posts, derailleurs, chain, cassette, and chainrings. Trim brake and shift cables, secure with cable ends.
  • True front and rear wheels laterally, so brakes can be properly adjusted.
  • Adjust front and rear wheel hubs, headset, bottom bracket, brake pads (center and balance clearance), shift levers, front and rear derailleurs.
  • Secure/tighten brake/shift levers, brake calipers, handlebars, stem, seatpost, seat, crankarms, chainrings, pedals, and accessories.
  • No additional labor charges for cables, housing, chain and cassette replacement.

Great value if your bike has little use over the past few years and just needs a 'freshening up' to get it ready for in season riding.

  • Adjust front and rear wheel hubs, headset, bottom bracket, brake pads (center and balance clearance), shift levers, front and rear derailleurs.
  • Secure/tighten brake/shift levers, brake calipers, handlebars, stem, seatpost, seat, crankarms, chainrings, pedals, and accessories.
  • Lube brake/shift levers, brake/shift cables and derailleurs. Trim brake and shift cables, secure with cable ends.
  • True front and rear wheels laterally, so brakes can be properly adjusted. Wipe down frame.
